Mac Preston from TJ & Mac's youtube channel, @macpreston on instagram and brands shed life and no wasted weekends has spent the last few years building a truly one of a kind 79 Series.

Starting from an already heavily modified 79 series coil converted by Blue Flame Automotive and performance mods from Fast Lane Fabrications including throttle body top mount delete and four inch intake through to a custom airbox and phat bars 5" snorkel the car started life as a Sandy Taupe 79.

Full superior engineering pre-rego 5" Lift and Long Arm 5-Link Coil Conversion allows it to roll on the black top with 37s (KMC Machette polished alloys wrapped in Nitto Trail Grapplers).

Once it was in Mac's hands it was destined for change. And the unique styling he's applied is a beautiful evolution of the themes present in his Ranger build.

Painting the entire car black with the team at Speedshop including cleaning up old holes and spot welds to clean up the body, and keeping the factory bumper and fitting a middle east spec tray back have created a unique profile that stands out from most 79s in the community.

A comprehensive (lightweight) 12v set up with all the essentials but none of the normal extremes like a coffee machine and induction cooking, the car is all car no nonsense.

Featuring barwork from Phat bars, Lightforce driving lights, harrop e-lockers the driveline was recently complimented by an amazing automatic transmission conversion featuring the 8HP gearbox from the team at Zero to 60 (8Speed) who handle drift and race monsters through to some of the most impressive 79 series in the country.

Most recently the interior has had a big upgrade complimenting the car builders sound deadening a huge package of bits and pieces from PVS including rear view mirror, customer steering wheel and other nice bits that bring the 79 up into the 21st century.

Introducing the Bull 79, a 2020 dual cab 79 series from Isaac and the team at Norweld in Queensland. 

Meticulously built over eight months with careful attention to detail. Named after the owner's nickname, Bull, this car is a true beast on the road and off. 

The exterior of the vehicle has been painted in a unique Jeep color called Gator, giving it a distinctive look that stands out from the crowd. The modifications begin at the front, where the Bull 79 features an ARB Big Tube Bull bar and ARB Solis lights. The vehicle has also been equipped with a Warn winch and a Norweld grill, which adds a touch of personalization. Completing the exterior upgrades is the EVO Corse 18x9 wheels, specially imported from Australia and perfectly complementing the overall design.

Moving to the interior, the Bull 79 showcases a well-thought-out setup. The driver and passenger seats have been upgraded to Specialist M Recaros, providing comfort and support during long off-road trips. The cabin is equipped with a roof console, floor console, and a Kenwood head unit, offering a great audio experience for the occupants. Thanks to the addition of the Red Vision system from Redarc, the driver has full control over the car's electrical functions, making it easy to manage power consumption and monitor battery levels. The interior also features vinyl door cards with the Norweld logo, offering durability and a touch of style.

When it comes to camping, the Bull 79 is fully equipped to handle any adventure. The Norweld canopy, known as the Deluxe, provides ample space for storing all necessary camping gear. It features a compact layout, with a single tire and jerry can holder, leaving enough room for a Boss tent, a swag, or an Oztent. The canopy also incorporates a built-in drawer system, keeping everything organized and easily accessible. Power needs are taken care of by the Platinum wiring package, along with a 2000 watt inverter and 400 amps of lithium batteries, ensuring that the Bull 79 remains self-sufficient while off the grid. Additional features like the ARB twin compressor kit with a tank and a built-in coffee machine add convenience and luxury to the camping experience.

Underneath its rugged exterior, the Bull 79 boasts an impressive performance package. The vehicle has been fitted with portal axles and a 300mm chassis extension provided by Multi Drive and Marks, giving it the extra ground clearance and stability needed for extreme off-roading. The G-Turbo G350 turbo upgrade, PowerPipe, and Diesel Power Unlimited intercooler have significantly improved the vehicle's power and torque output, delivering a thrilling driving experience. The suspension has been upgraded with JMX Alpha shocks from JMAXX, offering in-cab adjustability to adapt to different terrains. With a GVM of 3950kg, the Bull 79 can carry a substantial payload and is perfectly suited for long-distance touring.
