A foldable awning bracket that allows you to lay your awning flat on the roof when not in use. It helps to protect the awning cover from tree damage and also allows you to mount the awning higher than normal since it doesn't sit up at all times. I used to hit my head on my awning when I was parked up in sand because I didn't want it to sit awkwardly high while driving day to day, now that it folds back onto the roof I could mount it higher up to give a little extra head room.
